Let’s come together to raise awareness and prepare for tsunamis!

The COPE Tsunami book is now available in Bahasa and will be making its debut at the upcoming UNESCO IOC Global Tsunami Symposium, 11–14 November, in Banda, Aceh, Indonesia! The book is especially significant as we approach the 20th anniversary of the devastating Indian Ocean Tsunami on December 26th, 2004.

At the symposium, our friends from UNDRR will promote the book in Bahasa, which will help communities across Indonesia connect with vital tsunami safety knowledge in their language.

What’s Next for COPE?

We are collaborating with The TENG Company to have the Tsunamis Jingle ready before December 26th, 2024. This jingle will help spread awareness about tsunami preparedness in a fun and engaging way, reaching more families with essential safety messages.
