COPE Tsunamis Launched in the Maldives: Strengthening Disaster Preparedness!

On December 26th, the COPE Tsunamis book was officially launched during an exhibition in the Maldives, organized to commemorate the lives affected by the devastating tsunami two decades ago.

This event was made possible through the efforts of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), with generous sponsorship from Equinox Media. Through this partnership, the COPE Tsunamis books were printed and distributed across the region to support disaster preparedness efforts and increase awareness about tsunami risks.

The launch marks an important milestone for the COPE, as it brings life-saving knowledge to communities in the Maldives. By equipping children with the tools to understand and respond to tsunami threats, we empower future generations to be resilient in disasters.
